Dear all
We are almost there and thank you all very much for the huge amount of energy and commitment you have put into learning this term’s music; it was sounding great on Monday.
Remember that we are also singing the Haydn, Mendelssohn and Purcell pieces for the Good Friday event at St Leonard’s (18th April).
Thank you to all of you who have signed up to join in; we could do with several more, if you are free to take part.
This rehearsal prior to the concert is our chance to build confidence with the music and most importantly for us with John, to adjust to the different sound from the organ at St Leonard’s. For the concert, we will be joined by a small ensemble of 4 violins, a cello and a double bass. Please brush up on little corners that still require practice and also have another listen to the music; a perfect accompaniment to meal preparations, ironing etc! All the tracks are at the end of this message.
Please also invite friends and family to the concert so that we have a full and appreciative audience.
